Clinton Beck Biography

President & Founder Clinton Beck Marketing

Clinton Mervin Beck was born in Vancouver, British Columbia in 1967.  He was raised in Surrey British Columbia.  He is a single father and has  have two boys.

In 1984 Clinton founded Four Seasons Photography.  Clinton took pictures of Vancouver landmarks and sold them to tourists during Expo 86.

In 1986 Clinton graduated and was excepted to Kwantlen Collage for journalism.  After six months Clinton left collage to continue on with his dreams as an entrepreneur.

In 1987 Clinton started C.C. Beck & Associates Diamond Jewelry  Brokers which sold diamond and specialty jewelry and watches to select clients and businesses.  He also accepted the position as General Practice Manager for two veterinary hospitals in Surrey.  He was also elected a Director of the Social Credit Party of British Columbia.

In 1989 Clinton started the highly successful Hygenicomp Computer and Electronic Hardware Cleaning corporation which now has over thirty franchise locations across Canada.

In 1990 he was the youngest member ever accepted to the Fraser Valley Executive Association and that same year he was elected Director and Treasurer.

In 1991 Clinton left Veterinary medicine to open his first of three full service retail jewelry stores in Vancouver.  He was elected Vice President of the Fraser Valley Executive Association and was also honored that year with the Executive of the Year award presented by the Fraser Valley Executive Association for outstanding conduct in business and community affairs.  Clinton was elected Vice President of the B.C. Social Credit Party Surrey North.

In 1992 he was honored for the second time with the Executive of the Year award, the first time in the 35 year history of the organization a member won two consecutive years.  Continuing in politics he ran for the nomination for the Reform Party of Canada for Surrey.  Clinton was elected President of the Fraser Valley Executive Association and represented the association at the 1992 Pacific Executive Conference in Washington.  The same year he was appointed by the Mayor and Council of Surrey to represent youth and business on their Social Planning Committee.  Clinton became a Master Franchisor for Ceiling Doctor B.C.

In 1994 Clinton down sized his jewelry operations to focus on franchising Hygenicomp and built the company to a twenty-five outlet franchise system.

In 1995 Clinton started Cynatec Specialty Cleaning and Restorations and in one year expanded it to become the largest specialty cleaning company in Western Canada.

In 1996 Clinton founded Entrepreneurial Spirit Training, a full service advertising and public relations company based in the Comox Valley.  Clinton also took over Oasis Publishing Of Canada Corp.  He was also a finalist for the Canadian Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Award sponsored by the Federal Business Development Bank.

In 1997 Clinton developed the Oasis Investment Strategies daily market report which propelled Oasis to become one of Canada’s only futures related .com companies.

In 1998 Clinton was selected to represent the Ministry Of Small Business & Tourism for the UBET program as their keynote speaker.  His engaging lectures have empowered youth all over British Columbia to explore the opportunities of Entrepreneurship.

In 1999 Clinton with partners founded Entrepreneurial Spirit Training Inc. and developed an online course educating people on the real world experiences of entrepreneurs.  Clinton also founded 1stnation.com which was developed to educate First Nations Youth about promoting their art and culture.

In 2002 Clinton founded Critter Vaccines Inc., a home pet vaccination service.  Clinton's successful company was challenged in court by the Alberta Veterinary Medical Association citing that vaccinating pets can only be done by a Veterinarian or the owner of the pet.  Critter Vaccines lost its case and was forced to close.

In 2004 Clinton founded Iron Cross Antiques.

Clinton is a well known speaker and motivational trainer.  He has been featured on Radio programs , Canadian Achievers & Television for business and politics.  He has had several articles published about his talent and enthusiasm as an entrepreneur.  He has been featured in several articles dealing with entrepreneurship and free enterprise.  In 1996 he was a finalist for the Canadian Young Entrepreneur Award for British Columbia.  He has been active in Rotary, Toastmasters, Chambers of Commerce and several networking groups.

Today Clinton runs Iron Cross Antiques & Jewellery Ltd. based in Edmonton Alberta with kiosks and sales displays throughout British Columbia.
